Antonio Sage Rodriguez, 28, of Portland, OR and Redby, MN passed away on Thursday, November 12th, 2020 in Portland, OR. Tony was born on February 26th, 1992 in Saint Paul, MN to Candida Rodriguez-Kingbird and Micheal Johnson

Tony enjoyed and lived his life to the fullest capacity; he had a unique sense of humor and was always laughing and joking around. Antonio was a very caring, giving and loving person, who would help others in any way he could. He loved his music and playing guitar. Tony had so many great qualities and attributes but the ones we will forever cherish are his kindness, humor and his smile.

Family welcoming Tony to the spirit world are his great grandparents, Sam and Gertrude RedEagle; grandpa, Greg Kingbird; uncle, Alvin "Lil John" Johnson II and many relatives who passed before him.

He leaves behind his dad, Mike (Merri Jo) Johnson; mom, Candida Rodriguez-Kingbird; daughter, Tigerlily Johnson; grandparents, Alvin (Eva) Johnson, Sr. and Jeri Rodriguez; brothers, Michael and Matthew Sumner and Vincent Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth, Paula, Salena and Ariel Johnson, Madison Sumner all of Red Lake, Tanyka and Olivia Rodriguez, Elaina (Michael) Mallory and Mishiiki Kingbird all of Portland, OR, many aunties, uncles and cousins.

A wake for Antonio will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5th and continue until his 1:00 p.m. traditional service on Monday, December 7th, 2020 all being held at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN. Officiating with prayer will be Grandpa John Johnson. Pallbearers for Antonio are Michael Sumner, Corey Whitefeather, Jr., JR Goodleft, Mikey Roberts and Keith RedEagle. His honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends. Interment will be in the Fox Point Cemetery at Redby, MN.
