Charles "Chucky " Kingbird, 29, of Cass Lake, MN died Monday, November 23, 2020 in Cass Lake, MN.

Traditional Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, MN, with Spiritual Leader Allen Hardy officiating, and drum group Giiwaydin "North Wind." A wake will begin at 5:00pm, Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the Mission Community Center, and will continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Burial Grounds on Mission Corner in Cass Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

He was born on November 1, 1991 in Bemidji, MN the son of Marilyn (Fineday) Wind and Derek Kingbird Sr. He was a very kind and loving person. He received his GED, and went on to work with the Leech Lake YouthBuild. Chuck was a great son. He was always at his mother's side, A "Mommy's Boy." He was very trustworthy and made a lot of friends. He had the smile that showed people what kind of person he was. He had a laugh that he did often when talking with everyone. He was very intelligent when it came to electronics, and could fix about anything. He enjoyed going to the Casino. He loved playing his Xbox and gaming all night with his friends.

He loved his children so much, he was a very good father. They will miss him dearly.
