Laura D. Stand, age 37, journeyed to the Spirit World on November 5, 2020.

She was born on December 15, 1983 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Michael Stand and Marilyn Left Hand.

Laura was a beautiful soul that enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed fixing her hair and make-up, enjoyed playing games and listening to music. She loved her family. We will miss her and her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her father; sons Michael Running Shield, Matthew Running Shield, Nicolaus Williams-Brown Jr., Anthony Stand and Niko William-Brown; daughters Mercedes Stand, Aliyah Stand and Nikaiya William-Brown; brothers Michael Stand Jr., Robert Stand Sr., Jacob Mata, Manuell Perez Berra; sisters Nicole Stand, Rena Big Crow, Jayshell Flying Horse and Lavone Saice; many other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 4055 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN from 1-4 PM.

Honorary Bearers are Michael Stand Jr., Jacob Mata, Will Bryant, Michael Running Shield, Matthew Running Shield, Jerrith Oak Grove, Sean Mason, Dakota Wade Left Hand, Roy Brown and Ulysis Jr.
