Gov. Tim Walz spoke during a press conference at a new saliva testing center for COVID in the Minneapolis Convention Center that opened Monday in Minneapolis. Yesterday Minnesota reached an all-time high daily COVID count at nearly 6,000 as the U.S. today surpassed 10 million total cases.

Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday will unveil "surgical" COVID-19 restrictions that target spreaders of the fast-growing infectious disease, as well as plans for mobile device tracking to alert people when they have been exposed to the virus.
