DFL Party Statement on Trump's Remarks in Rochester

St. Paul, MN - Today, DFL Party Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement in response to President Trump’s remarks in Rochester, Minnesota tonight:

“Tonight, Donald Trump came to Minnesota to divide Minnesotans. But his 21-minute, rushed and low-energy speech was simply an attempt to distract us from his failed coronavirus response, his attacks on the ACA, and his devastating family separation policies. Minnesotans won’t be fooled. We know that we’re stronger when we stand together. Black, Brown, white, Indigenous, immigrant or citizen -- we know that we can build a better future together. That’s why Minnesotans are turning out in droves in the final days before Election Day to elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Tina Smith and Democrats up and down the ticket.”
