Parshall Woman Indicted in Connection to Infant Death

PARSHALL, N.D. (KEYZ) – A Parshall woman is under indictment by a federal grand jury in connection with an infant's death.

Prosecutors say 26-year-old Paige Howling Wolf allowed an infant in her care to starve to death. Authorities also say that three of four other children in her care had methamphetamine in their systems.

Authorities and medical personnel responded June 24th to a Parshall residence occupied by Howling Wolf, where an infant was found unresponsive.

The child's death was found in an autopsy to be caused by chronic starvation.
