President Bordeaux announces shutdown of Rosebud Indian Reservation

ROSEBUD INDIAN RESERVATION, S.D. — Due to the increase of COVID-19 and new reports of Influenza A cases, the Rosebud Sioux Tribe has issued a lockdown of the Rosebud Indian Reservation.
In a video from the tribe’s YouTube Channel, Vice President Scott Herman of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, made the announcement that said an alarming amount of the cases on the reservation were found in children and that a quarter of the amount of active cases are among elders.
The order came from President Rodney M. Bordeaux.
