WARM SPRINGS, Ore. (KTVZ) – Police responding to a suspicious circumstances report Saturday evening found a Warm Springs man who died despite life-saving efforts, prompting an investigation and the identification of a "person of interest," Police Chief Bill Elliott said Monday.
Warm Springs Tribal Police Department officers responding to the report in the Greeley Heights area of Warm Springs found a man identified as Jonathan Gilbert "in a life-threatening situation," Elliott said in a news release, declining to release further specifics due to the ongoing investigation.
Officers attempted CPR and other life-saving procedures, but the alleged victim died before emergency medical personnel arrived, Elliott said.
