New Jersey casinos record physical and digital profits since reopening

New Jersey’s casinos and horse tracks are reporting winnings of $264.5 million in the month of July 2020 after reopening during the coronavirus outbreak. While the amount was down nearly 21% from July of 2019, the casinos are glad to be operational.

Figures released last week by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reflect the first month of resumed operations that the casinos and tracks were permitted to undertake at only 25% capacity.

In surrounding states, residents may be looking to visit New Jersey casinos.
