Tohono O'odham police Officer Bryan Brown killed in southern Arizona, FBI confirms

SELLS — The Tohono O'odham Police Department was involved in an arrest Thursday that led to the death of one officer near the small community of Why in southern Arizona, according to the Tohono O'odham Nation and the FBI.

Gov. Doug Ducey's office identified the slain officer as Tohono O'odham police Officer Bryan Brown.

The FBI said the killing of the officer happened near the Desert Diamond Why Casino on the Tohono O'odham Nation.
