Brenda Joyce Redday "Wanbli-Luta Win" (Scarlet Eagle Woman), age 61 of Peever, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, August 24, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on October 22, 1958 to Howard L. Redday Sr. and Helen L. Redday of Sisseton, South Dakota.

Brenda lived in Sisseton most of her life and was baptized at The Long Hollow Church where she was also a member.

She graduated from High School in Ft. Yates, North Dakota in 1978. Brenda continued her education by graduating in 1991 at The United Tribes Technical College in Culinary Arts and Automotive Mechanics Technician.

Brenda lived in Bismarck, North Dakota before returning to her hometown in Sisseton, South Dakota where she continued her education at The Sisseton Wahpeton Community College.

She was employed at The Long Hollow District Business "Swiftly Lube" in Sisseton, South Dakota. Brenda was then employed at The Sisseton Wahpeton Head Start as a cook.

After High School, Brenda met Louis Hart Sr. and to this union they had four children Louis Hart Jr., Tracey Renae Hart, Kristie Rae Hart and Shirley Marie Redday.

Brenda loved traveling to Pow-Wows, from 1976/1977 Brenda was the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe Princess.

Her hobbies were playing cards, beading her own Woman's Traditional outfits along with quilting.

Brenda is survived by her children: Louis and Jennifer Peck/Hart of Sisseton, South Dakota, Tracey Hart and her companion Corey Renville of Sisseton, South Dakota and Shirley Marie Redday of Sisseton, South Dakota; brothers: Leroy Joseph Redday of Madison, South Dakota, Emmett and Annette Redday of Sisseton, South Dakota, Howard Redday Jr., Dennia Redday Sr., Morgan Redday Sr. all of Sisseton, South Dakota; sisters: Phyllis (Redday) Robertson, Maxine (Redday) Renville, Maria (Redday) DeCoteau, Bonita (Redday) Wilson, Betty (Redday) Dwarf all of Sisseton, South Daktoa and Delorse Begay-Larson of Minnesota; goddaughter: Kathryn (Redday) Three Legs of Sisseton, South Dakota; along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Helen (Eagle) Redday Sr. of Sisseton, South Dakota, paternal grandparents Joseph Redday and Emma Skyman, maternal grandparents Robert Eagle and Nelli Bluedog, grandparents Joseph and Vivian BullHead of Ft. Yates, North Dakota, grandparents Kenneth and Darlene YoungBear of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, Charles Wise Spirit of Cannon Ball, North Dakota, (Hunka Father) Joe Elyingby of Little Eagle, South Dakota, brothers Roger Redday Sr., Darren Redday, Floyd Redday Sr., Gordon Redday Sr, infant brother Oliver Redday, Elroy F. Wilson, Nathanial Wilson, Richard Wilson, sisters Shirley (Wilson) Limpy, infant sister Gyla Redday, daughter Kristie Rae Hart, godson Vernon K. Renville Jr. and a infant grandchild Pretty Deer.
