Tammie Lou, daughter of Lloyd Robinson and Genevieve Nash was born on May 23, 1961 in Grand Forks ND. Tammie grew up and attended school in the St. Michael/Fort Totten area. With hard work and determination, she received her GED and continued on with her education, receiving an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Office Technology through the Candeska Cikana Community College where she achieved her goal of making the Dean's and President's List.

Tammie and Brent Putnam were making a life and home together for several years before their marriage in 2009.

Tammie worked for the Spirit Lake Tribe in several capacities, including working at Sioux Manufacturing, Vocational Rehab Center, for many years with Spirit Lake Senior Services, Spirit Lake Planning, Spirit Lake Housing and was now working for Tribal Health, most recently as their Event Coordinator.

In her younger years, Tammie loved to dance and ice skate, just like her idle Peggy Fleming. She was the family photographer. She loved to take pictures. She took pictures of family, friends, community events, family get-togethers and all the events she took part in with Tribal Health. She had over 800 pictures on her FACEBOOK page. Tammie had many pets through the years, including her present "best friend" Princess. She loved to watch "Ellen" and also loved to cook. But her most treasured pictures, her most treasured moments were those with her children and grandchildren and was thrilled to be a great grandma.

Tammie was about helping people. If she saw a need, she helped in any way she could. May she rest in peace. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Tammie will be greatly missed, forever loved and forever in the hearts of her family including her husband Brent; children Lynn McKay and Robbie McKay; grandchildren Julian, Felisha, Zoey, Robert, Rocky and Savannah-Rainin, Brysen, Brooklynn, Tia, David and Darbie; great granddaughters Avionna and Alayah; sisters Jane Lamrose, Julie Creed, Elaine Robinson and Gail Nash; many dear nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her mother Genevieve Nash Jetty, father Lloyd Robinson, daughter Kassie, sisters Francine Lamrose, Lillian Lamrose, Sandra Lamrose Miller, brother Tom Nash, niece Misty Dawn Yali, nephews Todd Belgarde Jr., Craig Dean Carlson and Aaron Nash, aunts Betty Morin, Beatrice Abrahamson, Marie Baker, Vivian (Dave) Jetty and Doris Morin and other dear family members.
