Red Lake Nation COVID-19 Emergency Response Team offered free testing again in the Redby District - P2

Outdoor drive through testing events were offerred in all Districts; More testing is likely through October

REDBY DISTRICT - On Thursday, August 20, 2020, the Red Lake Nation COVID-19 Emergency Response Team offered free testing for anyone 18 years and older at the Oshkiimaajitahdah site from 10 AM -3 PM. It was the first in a series of four testing days that would include all Red Lake Reservation Districts once again.

They ended up testing less than 100 participants during this period.

A person had the choice of either a throat swab or nasal swab test, and both tests were minimally invasive.

Registration was provided on site, but if persons preregistered the day before they would receive a $15.00 voucher for the Red Lake Trading Post or the Ponemah Market upon completion of the test.

Other tests are scheduled for:

August 27, 2020 - Ponemah - Boys and Girls Club

September 3, 2020 - Red Lake - Behind the Humanities Center

The tests are voluntary and there will be future testing events through October 2020.
