Eli Michael Richotte-Kania

Eli Michael Richotte-Kania, 3 month old son of Sheldon Kania and Angel Marie Richotte, born April 26, 2020 passed on to the Spirit World peacefully in his sleep on August 11, 2020 at his home.

In Eli's short life he has touched many many hearts. Eli was a very very happy baby, he loved to laugh so hard and smile, especially at his big sister Alyiah. He loved to hang out and jam out to pow-wow music with his Papa Murle.

He sure was a character. He loved to be talked to and play with his toys. He was such a strong and healthy baby. He loved to sit up and kick his feet. He also loved to blow bubbles and talk. Eli was very close to his sister. He loved to smile at her and talk to her. He also loved to hang out with his parents. As parents, he changed our minds on how fast a baby could grow and develop as fast as he did. He was way ahead of his time, a good, smart, healthy soul was lost too early.

Eli, forever we will love you, forever Mommy, Daddy and Sissy and your whole family will miss you. You stole so many hearts with those big dimples and that handsome smile.

Eli is survived by his loving family. His parents Sheldon and Angel; big sister Alyiah; grandparents Murle and Angela Richotte and Melody Kania; aunts Heidi Richotte, Bobby Richotte, Waste Win Richotte, Chelsea Asleson and Dru Lunday; uncles Leonard (Mikayla Stafford) Richotte, Murle Richotte Jr. and William Richotte St. Pierre; great great grandpa Pierre Culbertson other special family Joe Herman Sr., Grandma Adele Shaw, Grandma Sherry St. Pierre, Grandma Eva St. Pierre, Grandma Ida Cavanaugh, Grandma Edna McCaslin, Troy and Misty Lovejoy Sr., Marie Richotte, Marilyn VanSteenvoort, Josh VanSteenvoort, William Cavanaugh, Robert Hulst, Tina Hulst, Corrina Hulst, Lisa Richotte, Nick McMahan, Allen McMahan, Trey Carmona, Brisa Thompson, Tannis Shaw, Rolynda Herald, Marissa Posey and Abreanna Grace, and many other treasured and precious relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Phil Kania, grandparents Leonard and Amelia Richotte, Marceline St. Pierre, Betty and Dan VanSteenvoort, grandmas Linda Herman and Patricia Shaw, grandpas Robert Herman Sr., Daniel Herman and Art Martin.

Casket Bearers for Eli will be Eli's Uncles Leonard Richotte, Murle Richotte, William "Doogie" Richotte and also Nick McMahan. Visitation will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Angels will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Burial will be at a later date. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Monday, August 17th at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza.
