Minnesota Governor to announce state's learning plan for 2020-21 school year at 2 p.m. Thursday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Gov. Tim Walz will announce the state's learning plan for the upcoming 2020-21 school year in Minnesota Thursday afternoon.

The Governor's office said he, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm, Department of Education Commissioner Mary Cathryn Ricker and Department of Education Deputy Commissioner Heather Mueller will be on hand for announcement.

On the eve of that announcement Wednesday, parents and teachers braced for what the announcement will reveal as kids enjoy their carefree summer days.
