Frank William Norris

December 23, 1996 ~ July 16, 2020 (age 23)

Frank William Norris, 23 years young, "Ozhigaabawi Makoons" which means "Lil Standing Bear" of Bemidji, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, July 16th, 2020 from Sanford Hospital in Bemidji, MN. He was born in Bemidji, MN on December 23rd, 1996 to Stacy (Halvorson) Shaffer and Reynaldo Norris.

Frank was always an adventurous one...we had to always go all out to keep him in. If the door was locked, he went out the window; and that carried him through out his life. He loved making people laugh, was goofy as hell and always helped others instead of himself. Frank was the "sweetest asshole" and a "huge teddy bear". He loved all kinds of music and never went without it.

Family welcoming Frank to the spirit world by his twin brother; grandma, Roxanne LaRose; great grandma, Henrietta "Chubby" Norris; aunt, Cheryl LaRose and uncles, Frank and Gordon Norris, and Michael McNeal.

He leaves behind his mother, Stacy (James) Shaffer of St. Paul; his father, Reynaldo (Donis) Norris of Bemidji; his other dad, Andre Shaffer, Jr .; brothers, Randall "James" Norris and Andre Kirkman-Shaffer III; sisters, Cheyenne and Adrianna Norris, Julia Jones and KayLynn Halvorson-Sturkey and numerous aunties, uncles and other extended family.

Wake services for Frank will begin tonight, Tuesday, July 21st and continue until his 1:00 p.m. traditional service on Thursday, July 23rd all to be held at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN. His Spiritual Advisor will be Ron Winters. Pallbearers for Frank will be Roger, Providence, Josh B. Jr., Dom, Nick, Joey, Markus, Josh B., Chris, and Rob. His honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends. At Frank's request, his cremated remains will remain with his family.
