Ashleigh Dawn Amelia Mountain, age 21, of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on July 3, 2020 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota. She was born on February 25, 1999 in Bemidji, Minnesota the daughter of Charles Goodman and Wyona Mountain.

Ashleigh was shy when you first met her. She was very smart and intelligent, in high school she took pre-college classes. Worked as a youth mentor at Little Earth for 3 years, with the Ameri Corps building bridges, making trails up North by the Boundary Waters. She was very active in her community. Beading Native American earrings, moccasins, hair ties, and beaded all native American Regalia was one of her favorite things to do. Like to teach her siblings. She liked to go camping, going to Mexico 3 times. Ashleigh loved her family, brothers, sisters and spending time with her friends.

Survived by her father: Charles L. Goodman; mother: Wyona M. Mountain; brothers: Jose A Valenzuela-Mountain and Tyrese Goodman; sisters: Elise S Valenzuela-Mountain, Jazmyn A. Valenzuela-Mountain, Marissa J. Valenzuela-Mountain, and Isabella J. Valenzuela-Mountain.

An all-night visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 beginning at 3:00 P.M. at the family residence in Minneapolis.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. N.E. Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Officiating will be Bruce Sonnengbarg

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Autumn Charette, Yenecia Campbell, Donis Lachapelle, Sheila Stately, Desiree Charette, Theresa Charette

Casket Bearers will be Tyrese Goodman, Earl Rainey, Vinson Charette Sr., Conrad Rainey, Vinson Charette Jr., Marcus Rainey.

Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
