Each day until Tuesday, you can learn about the 23 candidates running by office and in alphabetical order. It is possible we could have a big turnover and have 6 of 7 new city leaders.

Today (Thursday) the six Bemidji mayoral candidates are posted, (please take a look) tomorrow (Friday) we'll post the five candidates running for Ward 1, and on Saturday the two candidates for the Ward 2 Special Election. On Sunday there's three for Ward 3, Monday look for three candidates for Ward 5, and then on Tuesday, the three candidates for County Commission District 5, for a total of 23 candidates.

The candidates have submitted a photo and answered 13 questions submitted by you on our Facebook site.

Two minute videos for each candidate will be posted early next week on our Facebook page, City Website and First City TV, schedule TBA. Please be part of an Informed Electorate, big changes are coming locally, nationally and all over the world. Also think about sharing your favorite candidates on your own page.
