Darlene R. Savage, age 80 of Cloquet, MN passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Sunnyside Health Care. She was born April 27, 1940 in Cloquet, the daughter of James and Jessie (Houle) Davis, Sr. Darlene was active in her Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe culture. She had worked for many years at Big Bucks Kitchen and for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Savage; brothers, Jim Davis, Wesley Davis, Eugene "Beaver" Davis, Ron Shabaiash, Russell Shabaiash, and Jay Shabaiash. She is survived by her son, Terry Savage; brother, Tony Davis; sister, Donna Shabaiash; one grandson, Torrence Savage; former husband, Russell Savage; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Traditional Graveside Service will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Saints Mary and Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Sawyer, MN led by Spiritual Leader, Brad Harrington. Serving as pallbearers are Terry and Torrence Savage, James Davis Sr., James Friedman, Jesse Kersting, and David Davis Jr.
