After weeks of havoc, curve flattening on Navajo Nation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — For weeks, the coronavirus has wreaked havoc on the Navajo Nation, but now the president announced some positive news.

Tuesday Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez said the curve is flattening out on the nation.

"We reached our peak of emergency room visits and full capacity of our health care facilities around April 24-25th," said Nez. "Everyone including the Navajo citizens, listened to the advice and the words of our health care professionals, and because of that we helped lessen the curve."
