State lawmakers remained locked in negotiations over a major infrastructure package Sunday evening as they rushed toward the end of a legislative session dominated by the coronavirus pandemic.
The potential billion dollar-plus bonding bill - along with a few other unresolved spending and tax issues - could still be hammered out in June if, as is likely, the Legislature is called back into a special session to address another extension of Gov. Tim Walz's peacetime emergency.
