BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists traveling in northwest Minnesota can expect short term delays and lane shifts on area bridges beginning May 18 as MnDOT crews begin annual maintenance work. Motorists can expect traffic impacts and vehicle restrictions at the following locations:
Monday, May 18
• Hwy 2- Kennedy Bridge, East Grand Forks
o Single lane of traffic in each direction
o 9 foot width restriction will be in effect
Tuesday, May 19
• Hwy 200- Halstad
o Single lane of traffic controlled by an automated traffic light
o 12 foot width restriction will be in effect
• Hwy 220- Mallory Bridge, south of East Grand Forks
o Single lane of traffic control by an automated traffic light
o 12 foot width restriction will be in effect
Wednesday, May 20
• Highway 11- Robin-Drayton Bridge
o Single lane of traffic controlled by an automated traffic light
o 12 foot width restriction will be in effect
Thursday, May 21
• Hwy 2B- Sorlie Bridge, East Grand Forks
o Lane reduction with minimal delays for motorists
• Hwy 75- Crookston
o Single lane of traffic controlled by an automated traffic light
o 12 foot width restriction will be in effect
