Steven Dennis Mountain, age 59, of Brooklyn Park Journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at First Choice Group Home.

He was born on August 5, 1960 in Minneapolis the son of William J. Mountain and Rosemary Yellow.

He was formerly employed in maintenance at Lakewood Cemetery.

He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He was a very great father! When his children were younger, he enjoyed teaching them to bike, roller skate and read.

Survived by his mother: Rosemary Mountain; sons: Steven Skinaway-Mountain Jr. and Anthony Mountain; daughters: Rebecca Skinaway, Stephanie Skinaway, Tarilyn Mountain, Nicole Mountain and Faith Strange; ten grandchildren; brothers: Warren Mountain, Adrian Yellow, Kevin Yellow, Glen Mountain and Leander Mountain; sisters: Wilma Mountain, Jean Mountain, Susan Mountain and Cyndi Mountain; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father William Mountain Sr. and four brothers Harold Mountain, Ivan Mountain, John Yellow and William Mountain Jr.
