JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

TITLE: Program Manager

DEPARTMENT: Children's Healing Center

REPORTS TO: Program Director

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Children's Healing Center provides and arranges an array of culturally based intensive helping and healing services to youth and

their families. This position is responsible for the administration of the Children's Healing Center. This includes responsibility for the

overall daily operations of the Children's Healing Center, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, ensuring safety and

wellbeing of children while in the facility, ensuring successful financial operation of the facility. Reports to Program Director,

full-time position w/benefits, salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

This position is responsible for successful administration and management of the CHC program. These core areas highlight many of

the elements that ensure successful administration and management.

●Adherence to policies and procedures of the Children's Healing Center

●Assurance of staffing and supervision necessary for the safety and wellbeing of children in the facility

●Assurance of holistic wraparound services necessary for the treatment of children in the facility

●Assurance of a culturally based program that serves children and families

●Assurance of collaboration with partners and stakeholders for optimal support for children in the facility

●Assurance of data collection, security of records for children in the facility

●Assurance of financial responsibility for sustainability of the facility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

●Knowledge of treatment foster care facility licensing requirements

●Knowledge of grant budgets, requirements, and reporting

●Knowledge of stakeholders and partners necessary for collaboration

●Knowledge of cultural practices and services

●Skilled in listening, engagement, and building rapport with staff

●Skilled in staff supervision, feedback, foundation building, mentoring

●Skilled in basic management principles

●Ability to build healthy relationships with staff, coworkers, and supervisors

●Ability to prioritize issues based on immediacy, urgency, critical nature and handle complex, emergent situations

●Ability to work as a team player and team motivational leader

●Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethics

QUALIFICATIONS:

●Bachelor's degree in business, social work, psychology, criminal justice, human services fields, or

●2 years of related experience in management, project management, supervision, program management

●Ability to pass a Federal criminal background check

●Ability to pass drug screening and remain free from substance abuse issues during employment

●Must be able to work outside of typical schedule
