JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

TITLE: Maintenance Worker

DEPARTMENT: Children's Healing Center

REPORTS TO: Children's Healing Center Program Manager

OPEN: May 1ST, 2020

CLOSING: May 22ND, 2020

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is predominantly responsible for ensuring the facility is physically clean and safe. This includes adhering to

daily maintenance schedules and responsibilities, informing supervisors of any issues of concern inside or outside the

facility, referring and coordinating additional cleaning or repair services as needed. This includes responsibility for the

overall cleanliness and safety operations of the building, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, ensuring safety

and wellbeing of children and staff while in the facility, ensuring communication with other team members. Reports to

Program Manager, full-time position w/benefits, salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

This position is responsible for successful physical operation of the CHC program; for ensuring the facility's is clean and

free from safety hazards

●Responsible for following daily maintenance cleaning schedule

●Responsible to keep busy throughout shift by deep cleaning other areas when daily routine schedule is complete

●Responsible for other duties as assigned by program manager that assist with the smooth operation of the

facility

●Responsible for cleaning, repairs and preventative maintenance of building and equipment

●Responsible to ensure grounds in front of the facility are nicely landscaped, groomed, and maintained

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

●Skilled in cleaning interiors of buildings and maintaining exterior of buildings and grounds

●Skilled in working independently

●Knowledge of safety protocols, maintenance of various of equipment

●Ability to gain knowledge of various mechanical/environmental safety standards

●Ability to learn fire codes, applicable health, safety and building codes.

●Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethics

QUALIFICATIONS:

●High school degree or equivalent

●Ability to pass a Federal criminal background check

●Ability to pass drug screening and remain free from substance abuse issues during employment
