Road construction on Highway 72 north of Waskish starts May 4

Bemidji, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 72 north of Waskish can expect short term delays and lane closures as construction begins on May 4. The project will resurface 14 miles of rural Hwy 72 between Lake of the Woods County Road 1 and south of the Beltrami County line.

Following guidance from state health officials and to prevent further spread of COVID-19, MnDOT crews will maintain social distancing practices while working.
