Bernadine Joyce (Thompson) Fox, 78, of Bagley, Minnesota died on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

A wake will begin on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Philips Episcopal Church in Rice Lake, Minnesota and will continue with graveside services on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Samuel Memorial Cemetery in Nay Tah Waush, Minnesota, with Pastor Jackie Bernacchi Officiating. Per CDC guidelines no more then 10 people can be in the church at a time and social distancing should be practiced inside and outside. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Bernadine was born on August 21, 1941 in Lengby, Minnesota the daughter of Henry and Lucy (Staples) Thompson. Bernadine married Alfred Fox on January 20, 1963 in Bagley, Minnesota. Bernadine was a retired teacher's aide, school bus driver, Headstart teacher, and Community Health Representative. She enjoyed fishing, berry picking, sewing, arts and crafts, (she was always making something) beading, and going to the casino. Bernadine was especially fond of her children and grandchildren and loved to spend quality time with them.

She is survived by her children; Alfred (Evette) Fox of Bagley, MN

Leah Tiley of Bagley, MN

Roshell (Mikel) Fox of Bagley, MN

Amber Fox of Mahnomen, MN

Darrell (Indy) Fox of Clearbrook, MN

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Fox Sr.; parents-Henry & Lucy Thompson; brothers-Floyd Thompson, Edward Thompson, Theodore Thompson, George Thompson, and Art Shamboo; special niece-Susan Thompson; and nephews-Irvin Thompson and Melvin Thompson Sr.
