Vickie Lynn Neadeau, age 55, of Red Lake, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, March 26th, 2020 at the Red Lake IHS. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 2nd, 1964, the daughter of Geraldine Neadeau and Gerald Needham, Sr.

Vickie grew up in Minneapolis, MN until the age of 13 when she moved with her family to Bemidji, MN. She lived there until she was 16 and they moved to Red Lake, where she lived most of her life. Vickie liked to explore and be adventurous, moving to Arizona and Minneapolis for a few years and then finally moved back to Red Lake, she resided there until the time of her death.

Vickie was a very outgoing, loving and caring person who never told anyone “No”. She always had an open door for whoever needed a place to chill or stay. Vickie loved to be around her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her life and her pride and joy, she loved to spend as much time with them as possible and even helped raise Jaden, Logan and Rashawd. She loved lottery tickets, beadwork, reading, and loved to do her makeup. Vickie always made sure everyone around her was taken care of. She had a heart of gold. Everyone knew that Vickie would give the shirt off her back if needed.

Family that Vickie is reunited with are her mother, Geraldine Neadeau; her father, Gerald Needham, Sr .; her stepfather, who raised her, Donald R. Cook, Sr .; sister, Lisa M. Cook; brother, Donald R. Cook, Jr .; grandparents, Adelle Nevins, James Needham, Katie and James Neadeau, Sr. and her special friend Irvin Hamm.

She leaves behind her daughter, Shalena Wood; son, Lee Lynn Neadeau; grandsons, Jaden and D’ondra Wood, Logan, Derell, Ronald, Julia and Chanelle Neadeau, Rashawd, Jashawn and Paris Machen, Cortez White, D’Anthony Lussier and Le’Asha Harrington ; sisters, Marla Jean Neadeau, Ramona and Jannette Needham, special sisters, Janet Drouillard, Shannon Cook, Lylah Dawn May, Valerie May and Charla Geointiy; brothers, Duane Neadeau, Kevin and Gerry Needham; special brother, Arnie May; 13 grandchildren; aunts, Alivia Neadeau ad Allura May; uncle, Leon Neadeau, several cousins and many friends.

An overnight wake will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 3rd and continue until her 2:00 p.m. funeral services on Saturday, April 4th all being held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Pallbearers for Vickie will be Roderick Sayers, Arnie May, Chip May, Devin Neadeau, Eddie Fairbanks, Dylan Stately, George Graves, Bill Thunder, Greg May, Steve Johnson, Jr., Jacob May, Ramon Sayers, Robert “B” May, Lydell Cook, Cody Cook, Dylan Cook, Jeff Cook and Rick Smith. Her honorary pallbearers are Sherri Dudley, Brenda Tarnow, Char Tarnow, Jill Cobenais, Jessica Johns, Linda Lussier, Leah Smith, Shannon Cook, Leah Sue Cook, Kim Cook, Lianne Lussier, Jackie Neadeau, Justina Smith, Nicole Robinson, Val May, Charla Geointiy, Rhonda May, Earline May, Jan Head, Janet Sumner, Janet Drouillard, Lylah May, Sheila Neadeau, Tammi Neadeau, Kyra Blue, Connie Neadeau, Raynelle Roberts, Ravonna Roberts, Connie Defoe, Cheyenne Martin, Danielle May and Kara Cook. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN following her services.
