Red Lake Gaming has taken a cautious approach and has stayed informed about COVID-19 and developments. Red Lake Gaming believes this decision is in the best interest of all Red Lake Nation members, the community, our valued patrons and especially our employees. As we navigated through this we continued to stay in constant contact with our Tribal Council and continued to make decisions that are based on known facts and official guidance. We employ hundreds who depend on their benefits and income to support themselves and their families. Seven Clans Casinos first and highest priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our team members and guests by taking these extra precautions these last few weeks to ensure the safety and well-being for all.
Although there have been NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any of our properties, all Seven Clans Casino properties will be voluntarily suspending all operations temporarily effective March, 19th at 4:00pm and tentatively reopen on April 2nd 2020 at 8:00am. With that being said it has not been an easy decision, but we are confident these actions are in the best interest to protect our employees, guests and our communities.
During this closure period, we will do our absolute best to keep our patrons updated via our Website and Facebook Pages. If we should decide to open sooner, or feel it is necessary to extend this temporary suspension, we will update social media and website as soon as possible. We feel this is best step because it is evident that this situation is a public health crisis.
Any upcoming Hotel reservations through April 1st, 2020 will be automatically canceled and refunded.
We appreciate your continued business and loyalty and thank all of our guests for your patience, understanding and the dedication we have received from our workforce. Please continue to stay safe, we will continue to support any efforts that will protect the health and well-being of our communities.
We urge people to follow guidance from the CDC and the World Health Organization:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
• Create social distancing in your personal space and limit personal contact as much as possible.
• If you are sick, stay home and seek medical attention if you experience symptoms. COVID-19 is an acute respiratory illness that can be very harmful.
• Avoid exposing others to a virus by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing (or an elbow or shoulder if no tissue is available).
