Warriors fall to Nevis in last regular game of year, 63-57; JV Boys also lose to Tigers 56-48 - P10

Parent Appreciation Night also held

RED LAKE, MN - The Red Lake Warriors played Nevis on the road on January 21, 2020, and defeated them 75-66. It was a little different when Red Lake hosted them on Friday, February 28th.

Four Nevis players were in double figures that night, and some of them were deadly on 3-pointers.

Red Lake trailed 29-25 in the first half, and in the second just couldn't make up enough ground to overtake Nevis.

Eddie Kramer led Nevis with 17, Derek Lindow and Luke Dewulf each added 16 and Ty Harrington hit for 14.

D, J. Holthusen led Red Lake with 23 points, Aaron Chaboyea hit for 19 and Riley Chaboyea ended with 8 points.

Red Lake was 18 of 28 from the freethrow line, while Nevis shot 11 of 23.

The Warriors finished the regular season 14-11, while Nevis stands at 21-4.

The Warriors will host Northome/Kelliher on Thursday, March 5th at 7 PM to open their Class A - Section 8 Boys Basketball Tournament.
