Coronavirus Takes Toll on K-12 and Higher Education

Schools officials from kindergarten through college are making increasingly aggressive decisions about how to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus in the U.S., where health officials are now reporting more than 500 confirmed cases.

With K-12 schools in places like California, New York and Washington state closing – some for more than a month – and institutions of higher education canceling in-person classes and shifting their courses online, the virus is beginning to exact a toll on the education space.
