John Edward Robinson

April 11, 1975 - March 3, 2020

John "George" Edward Robinson (Gaawitaase), was born April 11, 1975. John entered the spirit world on March 3, 2020. He was raised and educated in Cass Lake. John was the son of Margaret Robinson and was raised by his mom and Albert Robinson. He learned his plumbing and heating trade while working along with Uncle Al. He worked at many different casinos in Indian country. He enjoyed spending time listening to music, watching wrestling, and MMA. His greatest passion was his daughters, nieces, and nephews. He was one of the founders of the Descendent Motorcycle Organization (DMO). He loved attending rock concerts. He was a highly respected man and committed to his community. Our family and our community have lost a wonderful soul that can never by replaced and will always be loved and dearly missed.

John is survived by his daughters, Tayne and Waaseya; sisters, Jean (Charles) Bobolink and Kerri Rouseu; brothers, Dana Sargent, Eric Budreau, Terry LaDuke, and Tim "TC" Connor; uncles, Dennis and Bob Robinson; loyal canines, Brutus, Max, and Chub Chubs; nieces and nephews, Jaime, Mary Jane (Jeremy), KB Warchief (Zack), Charles, Jr., Uncle Albie; great nieces and nephews, Ryan "Bro", Ryleigh, Aiden, Baby Back, and Natalia.

He was preceded in death by his by his parents, Margaret and Al "Uncle Al" Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at noon at the Prescott Center in Cass Lake, MN. Condolences may be left at ceasefuneralhome.com.
