Daryold Blacketter, age 79 of Cloquet, MN passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet. He was born on April 19, 1940 in Cloquet, MN to James and Lillian (Paquette) Blacketter, Sr. Daryold worked in the woods logging as a young man and was a roofer for many years. He served several terms on the RBC council over the years. Daryold was an outdoorsman at heart, hunting, fishing and logging. He was an avid MN Vikings fan, enjoying games with family and friends.

Daryold was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, James, Jr., Clarence, Charles, Roger Blacketter, Sylvia Smith and Joyce Blacketter. Survivors include his brother, Bruce (Maryann) Blacketter; his daughter, Teresa (Dan) White; his son, Blake Evanson; his grandchildren, Eric Norris, Kevin Painter and Cholena Painter and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Sawyer Community Center with a Traditional Wake Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 until the10:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Sunday, February 23, 2020.
