Dora Janet Shaw, age 61, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Hennepin County Medical Center.

She was born on January 2, 1959 in Devils Lake, North Dakota.

Dora enjoyed scratch offs and jig saw puzzles. She loved her family. Dora was stern but sweet!

Survived by her children: Jaylene Blackcloud, Leverette Blackcloud, Loren Blackcloud, Angie Shaw and Lesly Blackcloud; many grandchildren including Mi-chel-le` Blackcloud, Topeka Robinson, Kiana Robinson, Valante` Robinson, Isiah Blackcloud, Preston Blackcloud, Vivian Arteshon, Ryan Blackcloud, Loren Blackcloud, Corbett Blackcloud, Justin & Evelyn Chapman; great grandchildren including Xsier Gonzalez and Kali Gonzalez; siblings: Cindy Shaw, Rhea Shaw, Mark Shaw, Bud Shaw and Neil Shaw; best friend: Pamela Ellis; a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by a son Preston James Blackcloud, grandchildren Mellissa & Shiloh Blackcloud, mother Vivian Shaw, grandmother Lillian Shaw, cousin Berdine Littleghost, significant other Orlando Steeprock and friend Faith Vega-Armenta.

Funeral services for Dora Shaw will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. The Crow Hill Wellness Center in Oberon, North Dakota. Pastor Larry Thiele will officiate.

Interment will follow at Presbyterian-Episcopal Cemetery in Fort Totten, North Dakota.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, February 19th beginning at 5:00 P.M. at The Little Earth Gym and Thursday, February 20th beginning at 5:00 P.M. at The Crow Hill Wellness Center in Oberon, North Dakota.

Bearers will be Virgil Foote, Justin Chapman, Calvin Stump, Mason Thompson, Morgan Thompson and Miles Jr. Thompson.
