The Patriots and Warriors went down to the final possession on Monday night that saw the Warriors walking away with a three point victory.
There were multiple lead changes in the second half but the difference was some key baskets that were made by Riley Chaboyea for the Warriors.
The Patriots got the final possesion of the game with 14 seconds on the clock but an errant pass caused the play to get off course and forced Senior Guard Bryer Strom to put up a shot from just inside the half court line that hit off the backboard.
The Warriors have won six of their last seven and will improve to 11-8 and will go to Sacred Heart tonight, host Pine River on February 7 and host Cass Lake in a double-header on February 11th. The Patriots fall to 4-14 and will get a few days of rest before travelling to Goodridge/Grygla on Friday.
