Mia Antonia Ortley was born January 29th, 2020 in Princeton, MN to Jamie Rancour and Anthony Ortley of Minneapolis. Mia was eager to enter the world, arriving early and weighing 1 pound and 3.6 ounces. Mia was most active at bedtime, when she was fed blueberries and peperonni pizza, and when she’d hear music from Yo Gotti. At her most recent checkup, she measured in the 97% percentile for tummy growth. Mia’s dad encouraged her to try and acquire a taste for Hot Cheetos, but mom said no. Mia welcomed Sylvia “Grandma Spoon” Ortley to the spirit world shortly after her own arrival.

Survived by parents: Jamie Rancour and Anthony Ortley; sister: Aziyah LeBeau age 3; cousins: Riley Rancour, Lucio Ortley-Rivera, Kiara Roy, Kyron Roy, Kyle Roy Jr., Reiko Sanchez-Cordero, Jordan Sanchez-Cordero, Andre Haywood and Renee Cordero; grandparents: Denise and Brian Rancour of Wahkon, MN and Stephanie Ortley of Minneapolis, MN; great grandparents: Alvin “Jim” and Phyllis Flasch of Onamia, MN; many other relatives.

Preceded in death by: great grandparents Vernon and Elnora Jones, Alvin and Audrey Flasch and by special uncles Bruce “Swift” Armstrong Jr., Jonathan Barbour, Christopher Lee Ortely and Taylor Townsend; great uncle Samuel Ortley Sr., great, great uncle Stephen Ortley Jr. and by great grandparents Joni and Herbert Rancour, great, great grandparents Vernon and Elnora Jones, Alvin and Audrey Flasch.

Combined Funeral Services for Mia Antonia Ortley and Sylvia Ortley will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 12 Noon at The Old Pine Point School in Ponsford. Allen Hardy will officiate.

Special music by The Jack Pine Singers and Dayton Jones.

Visitations will be held on Monday, February 3rd and Tuesday, February 4th at The Old Pine Point School beginning at 7:00 P.M.
