POSITION SUMMARY

Ombimindwaa Gidinawemaaganinaadog formally known as Family & Children's Services is seeking clinicians for its mental health program who are Licensed Mental Health Professionals or Clinical Trainees. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Ombimindwaa Mental Health is a community-based program providing clinical mental health services to children and adults on the Red Lake Nation. Services are offered in a verity of settings such as, office, school, home and other community locations. Mental Health Professionals have responsibility for independently providing a variety of mental health services for individuals, families and groups. Clinical Trainees seeking licensure work under the direction of a Mental Health Professional. Clinicians are required to be culturally responsive in the development of diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, identification of appropriate treatment methods, and utilization of a variety of applied psychotherapeutic techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in the following ways:

• Education: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited college or university AND;

• Professional License: Possession of a current professional license or seeking licensure to practice in one of the following fields: psychology, clinical social work, clinical counseling, or marriage and family therapy or, working toward licensure as a mental health professional.

o Applicants who hold a professional license qualify as a Mental Health Professional.

o Applicants who are complying with requirements for licensure or board certification as a mental health professional including the supervised practice in the delivery of mental health services for the treatment of mental illness qualify as a Clinical Trainee.

• Cultural humility along with knowledge of or willingness to learn cultural ways of helping on the Red Lake Nation.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing services to adults and families.

• Be knowledgeable about local community resources and how to access those resources.

• Able to comply with data privacy and confidentiality.

• Documentation of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

• Must be able to pass a background check and random drug screening.
