Position Title: ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields; AND

• a minimum of 2000 hours of documented supervised experience in delivery of services to persons with mental illness or a Master's Degree or other degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields.

o Provisional hire will be considered if 2000 hours of documented supervised experience in the delivery of services in the treatment of mental illness is not met.

• Valid driver's license and insurance for travel between sites and other business-related destination.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS), which is to help individuals who have a mental illness and qualify for services function independently in their homes or places of residence. The ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner will provide culturally responsive mental health services in four areas: Basic Living and Social Skills, Community Intervention, Medication Education and Transitioning to Community Living. Complete assessment and treatment planning to direct rehabilitative and skills-focused services in a variety of settings, including home and community based.
