Red Lake Warriors and Lady Warriors both winners in Laporte Double-Header

Lady Warriors 108 over Lady Tigers 20; Warriors over Tigers 81-33

LAPORTE - Both the Red Lake Lady Warriors and the Warriors were winners in the Laporte Double-Header on Monday, January 27, 2020.

The Lady Warriors won the early game 108-20, while the Warriors won their game 81-33.

The Red Lake Warriors dominated on both ends of the floor versus the Laporte Wildcats on Monday night. The Warriors used a hot start on offensive combined with some smothering defense to take an early and sizable lead.

14 different players scored for the Warriors with Gerika Kingbird, Autumn Holthusen and Latayla Pemberton combining for 64 points.

The Warriors improve to one game above .500 at 9-8 overall and will play a home game versus the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the Laporte Wildcats continue to search for win number one on the season and fall to 0-16 going into their game tonight at the Nevis Tigers.

The Red Lake Warriors ran away with the game against the Laporte Wildcats on Monday night. Red Lake played stellar defense all night, only allowing 33 total points.

The Warriors were also tight on offense with only 14 total turnovers.
