Kelli Lea Oquist, age 38 of Minneapolis, Journeyed to the Spirit World Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was born on December 23, 1981, the daughter of Gordon and Sue (nee Thompson) Oquist.

Kelli grew up in Blaine and Minneapolis, where she made many dear friends. She really loved making people laugh and be happy, often reminding people that "It's a good day!" as she would say. She was very helpful and had a wonderful, outgoing personality. She enjoyed cooking and going out to restaurants, music, watching TV, and absolutely loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eugene Sargent, Irene Garbow, Andrew and Mary Oquist, and Sylvia Leith.

Kelli will be dearly missed by her parents, Gordon and Sue Oquist; significant other, Nathaniel "Nico" Morrow; children, Aaron, Nico Jr., Kaliyah, Aniah, Warren; sister, Crystal Oquist (Hank Chosa); brothers, Gordon Jr. Oquist, Cory Oquist (Tiffany Hardy); sister-in-law, Shawn English; nieces and nephews, Cory Jones, Christopher Oquist, Rashawn Barret, Daryl, Clifford, Katrina Barret, Deshawn Oquist, Gordon III, Madison, Saun; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

An all night wake and services are pending.
