Kimberly "Missy" Lynn Needham

Kimberly "Missy" Lynn Needham, "Ozhaawashko-anang" which means "Blue Star" of Red Lake, Minnesota and the Bullhead Clan began her journey to the "Keno World", I mean the spirit world on Monday, January 20th, 2020 from the Red Lake IHS Hospital in Red Lake, MN.

Missy was born in Red Lake, MN on June 30th, 1967 to Margaret (Strong) and Donald Needham, Sr. She was raised in Red Lake and Minneapolis. She attended Red Lake schools and worked for the Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls. Missy enjoyed being able to raise her grandson, Cameron. She loved being with children and grandchildren, but most of all she cherished her time with all her family; except when she was at the casino playing Keno.

She is reunited with her parents, Margaret and Donald; sisters, Ramona and Cheryl Strong; niece, Ashley Needham; grandchild, De'Shaun Iceman-Needham; grandmother, Julia Lajuenesse, numerous aunties, uncles and other relatives.

Family that she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children, Sharae Needham, Curtis Jourdain, Jr., Marli and Shyla Jourdain and Cylis Needham-Barrett; grandchildren, Aubreyanna Iceman, Camron Needham, Bryleigh and Ethan Jourdain, Nathan, Emmett and Nehemaih White; brother, Donald Needham, Jr .; sister, Vickie Needham, many nieces, nephews and family members.

A wake for Missy will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 24th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Sunday, January 26th all to be held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Zac Earley will be her Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Missy to rest are Darren Strong, Ralph White, Jerry White, Jr., Greg Strong, Mike Needham and Ron Brun. Her honorary pallbearers are all her family and friends. Interment will be in the Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake, MN following her Sunday services.
