RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls MN

OPENS: January 7, 2020

CLOSES: January 21, 2020

SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor the Laundry attendant, is responsible to assist with Laundry for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Operates clothes washer, dryer and presser to ensure linens and laundry are properly cleaned and pressed for guests of Seven Clans Casinos.

 Inspects laundry items for needed repairs and/or stain removal. Refers repairs in accordance to procedures and conducts stain removal if necessary.

 Assists with guest services as needed. Responsible to ensure timely service is provided to all guests. Acknowledges and responds to guests immediately.

 Stocks laundry carts and/or brings laundry items to necessary rooms.

 Ensures machinery is operated according to manufacturer recommendations, including weight.

 Measures detergent and other chemicals to ensure proper usage is maintained at all times.

 Inspects linen and laundry for defects, handles according to established procedures.

 Sorts laundry and places it in storage in accordance to established guidelines.

 Ensures the highest quality of guest standards is maintained at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required a Laundry Attendant have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to push, pull and drop up to 50 lbs.
