WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow tonight with additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. A glaze of ice can be expected. North northeast winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Widespread falling and blowing snow will significantly reduce the visibility tonight, making travel very difficult to impossible. Power outages are also possible due to the ice.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Snow, with additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. A glaze of ice is possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph, causing areas of blowing and drifting snow.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Light snow will continue Monday with diminishing winds. An additional inch of snow is expected. For Tuesday through Saturday the probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.
