Ira Joseph Schoenborn, 40, of Redby, MN died Thursday, December 19, 2019 in Redby.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2019 at the new Redby Community Center with Pastor Tom Pollock officiating. A wake will begin on Thursday afternoon at the Redby Community Center under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji and will continue until the time of the service on Friday.

Ira was born September 13, 1979 in Bemidji, MN, the son of Richard Schulman, Sr. and Gloria "Bunny" Schoenborn. He was raised and educated in Red Lake, graduating from Red Lake High School in 1997. He was employed by the Red Lake Schools. He was an avid fisherman, pool player, and enjoyed watching football games. He was proudly raising his only daughter, his princess Kaydence, whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria "Bunny" Schoenborn, brother John D. Schoenborn, aunts Lorna Fairbanks, Dolly Schoenborn, Christine Thunder, Melvina Jackson, uncles George Schoenborn, Truman Schoenborn, Julius Schoenborn, Chris Schoenborn, Lawrence "Perkins" Cronquist, Sr., Dennis Smith and Elmer Smith and grandparents McKinley Auginaush, Ella Mae (Fairbanks) Cronquist, Ira & Mirel Schulman and Maggie Jackson.
