FURTHER VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2019 BEGINNING AT 3:00 PM AT THE RED LAKE COMMUNITY CENTER IN RED LAKE, MINNESOTA.

Arthur Bellanger passed away on December 14th, 2019 at Hennepin County Healthcare in Minneapolis. He was born on September 9th, 1949 the son of Daniel Bellanger Sr. and Phyllis (Roberts) Bellanger. Art grew up in Redby, Minnesota until he moved to Minneapolis in 1961. Where he attended Phillips Junior High and South High School. Art had many adventures in his life, that took him many different places. He had a hidden talent of being a gifted Guitarist. He was drafted into the Marines in 1967, he later received an honorable discharge in 1970.

In 1971 he hitchhiked to California, where he worked as a Dishwasher and attended college. He always called home to let his family know how much he loved sunny, California. He later returned back to Minneapolis after 3 years where he continued to live. Later, in life when technology was changing, Art returned to school for Computer Programming, Where, he graduated from AIOIC. Art loved his casino adventures, Bingo was his favorite, but also liked to play the slots and keno. Art loved to cheer on The Minnesota Vikings, Twins and Timberwolves. He will be missed by all his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his Father Daniel P Bellanger Sr, mother Phyllis Jourdain, Brothers David Bellanger, Dwight Bellanger Sr., Roy Roberts, Grandparents Charles and Jenny Roberts, and other numerous Relatives.

He is survived by Brothers: Daniel F. Bellanger, Joseph "Tiny" (Lovey) Bellanger, and Melvin (Celeste) Jourdain; Sisters: Lorraine (Dennis) Bellanger,and Joyce Strong, Aunt: Alberta Zamora; uncles: Douglas Roberts and Norman Roberts; plus many nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Damien Charnoski, David Jourdain Sr., Dwight Bellanger Jr., Ryan Jourdain, Darnell Bellanger and Daniel "Danny" Bellanger

Arrangements were made with the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota.
