McKenzie County Sheriff's deputy injured in chase when vehicle hits deer

WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a northwestern North Dakota sheriff's deputy was injured during a vehicle pursuit when his squad car struck a deer.

The McKenzie County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened 15 miles (24 kilometers) north of Watford City about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
