2019 Trust Fund Distribution for Red Lake Members

$200.00 Payment Distribution scheduled for December 14, 2019

The Red Lake Tribal Council has approved a $200.00 payment distribution for the enrolled membership of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.

Distribution of Checks for On-Reservation Members will be: December 14, 2019 at the Red Lake Humanities and the Ponemah Center 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

CHECKS WILL BE MAILED DECEMBER 12, 2019 TO MEMBERS RESIDING OFF THE RESERVATION

 DEADLINES 

ADDRESS CHANGE AND PROOF OF GUARDIANSHIP, and/or Enrollment Applications, the DEADLINE IS: Friday, NOVEMBER 22, 2019 at 12 PM.

ANY ENROLLMENT APPLICATION RECEIVED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL BE REVIEWED AT THE NEXT QUARTERLY ENROLLMENT MEETING IN MARCH 2020. THIS DEADLINE IS FOR ANYONE ELIGIBLE UNDER THE CURRENT ENROLLMENT ORDINANCE. THE NEW ENROLLMENT AMENDMENT OF RESOLUTION 199-19 DOES NOT GO INTO EFFECT UNTIL JANUARY 2020.

Address Change (If you have moved since December 2018, you must update your address): You can call in your change of address to 679-1345; please leave a voicemail if nobody is able to answer your call and your call will be returned.

PROOF GUARDIANSHIP MUST BE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

A Completed Court Order  Custody Order

Relative care verification  MFIP verification

Enrollment Applications:

1) A completed NOTORIZED application

2) Certified State issued Birth Certificate

3) All other documentation as stated on the enrollment application

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED

Applications are available for pickup at the Red Lake Government Center - Enrollment Office; Minneapolis Embassy 612-874-9588 and

the Duluth Urban Office 218-624-4418

 Checks reported LOST will have a 60-day waiting period before it will be re-issued. A $30.00 stop payment fee will be deducted from the check.

 Stolen checks MUST be reported to your local law enforcement. Stolen checks will not be re-issued by the Accounting Department. Recovery of a stolen check must be pursued through your local law enforcement and court system.

 NO CHECKS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER MARCH 31, 2018. Unclaimed monies are required to be returned to the Trust Fund Account.
