Two incumbents re-elected to Mashantucket council seats

Mashantucket — Two Mashantucket Pequot tribal councilors were elected to new three-year terms Sunday in voting among tribal members.

Crystal Whipple won her fourth council term while Merrill Reels won his second term, according to a tribal spokeswoman. Election ballots listed a total of seven candidates.
