Warm Springs residents now able to drink clean water
November 4, 2019
Residents of Warm Springs Indian Reservation are able to drink tap water again without having to boil it first, following a one-week prohibition from drinking water that may have been contaminated because of pressure losses caused by planned repairs.
The restriction was lifted midday Thursday, according to a letter from the Warm Springs public utility obtained by The Bulletin. Authorities completed two rounds of testing for bacterial contamination with all results returning negative.
