Harvey Joseph DeFoe, age 85 of Cloquet, MN died on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth with his family by his side. He was born on August 1, 1934 to Joseph and Lizzie (Colburn) DeFoe in Cloquet, MN. Harvey was a US Air Force veteran and was a member of the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. He was employed with Conwed and as a supervisor for US West/Northwestern Bell retiring in 1991.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy; daughter, Connie Wiesen; his siblings, Edith DeFoe, Rupert Smith, Delores Misquadace, Ramona Thompson, Alivina Abramowski, Bernadine Abramowski, Harold DeFoe, Vernon DeFoe, Kenneth DeFoe, Sr. and Phyllis Hague. He leaves behind his brother, Melvin DeFoe; sisters, Elaine (Daniel) McFatridge and Dorothy Cooley; his children, Wanda Smith, Steven DeFoe, and Anna DeFoe; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Traditional Wake Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Fond du Lac Head Start Gymnasium and continue throughout the evening until the Traditional Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019. Interment will be held in Old Holy Family Cemetery in Cloquet, MN.
